Our community extends our studio model of collective intelligence. A distributed network of minds, each retaining autonomy, yet connected through shared frameworks of sense-making. REGIONAL COLLABORATOR - EAST KSA

  • Zainab Almomatten is a designer and lecturer working across spatial design, digital innovation, and social sustainability. She holds a Master’s degree in Interior and Spatial Design from Politecnico di Milano and has trained at the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States, bringing a cross-cultural perspective to her work.

    At KFUPM, she teaches in the Integrated Design Department, advancing design education that connects human experience, digital tools, and ecological responsibility.

    At Cognitions, Zainab contributes perspective on spatial design, regional context, and socially responsive approaches to the built environment.

ENGINEER & TECHNICAL COLLABORATOR

  • Pavel merges architectural and engineering innovation with mindful sustainability. With a background in strategic design and construction management, he navigates the complexities of spatial design across Russia and Armenia.

    His work is shaped by a deep appreciation for community narratives, ecological relationships, and the interplay of light and space. An analog photographer at heart, he brings emotion and storytelling into every project, forging deeper connections between design, place, and people.

ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER

  • Kwadwo specializes in Construction Technology & Management, with a Master’s in Building and Architectural Engineering from Politecnico. Passionate about Building Energy Modeling and Sustainable Technologies, he integrates eco-friendly solutions into modern construction.

    Originally from Ghana, his experience spans Italy and France, demonstrating adaptability and innovation across cultures. Beyond architecture, he once apprenticed as a Neapolitan pizza maker—proof that craftsmanship, whether in buildings or food, is all about precision and passion.

How to Join ?

Our invitation-based membership brings together our core team and diverse community members to explore ideas, develop & feature work, and form enduring connections creating value through shared effort and long-term exchange.

    • Start by sending us your CV, portfolio, Instagram profile, or a short introduction to your work.

      Applications may also begin through email, Instagram DM, WhatsApp, or referral.

      Once received, we’ll review your work to understand your discipline, interests, and potential alignment with the Cognitions community.

    • If there is a strong fit, we’ll invite you for a conversation with our community curator.

      This is where we learn more about your practice, how you work, and where your skills may fit within the Cognitions network.

      If selected, you’ll be asked to share two selected projects that best represent your work, visual language, and creative direction. These may be featured across Cognitions’ media channels as part of our members profiles.

    • Once a simple Community Member agreement is signed & accepted, you’ll be welcomed into the Cognitions community.

      As the studio grows, our members will be considered first for relevant projects, collaborations, roles, and opportunities that match their expertise.

      You’ll also have access to selected community events, participatory sessions, workshops, and gatherings where members can connect, exchange, and be introduced to the wider network.

      Membership is voluntary. You may ask to update your profile, replace your selected works, or leave the community at any time.
