The session unfolded across two parts: an in-person opening and contextual introduction in Al-Ahsa, followed by a technical lecture on facade systems led online by the Cognitions team from Milan.

Conducted in English and Arabic, the exchange brought together architects, designers, interior designers & engineers from Saudi Arabia and Italy in person at Al Ahsa alongside fellow colleagues joining online.

The technical session focused on ventilated facade systems, facade engineering, environmental analysis, material performance, and building envelope performance in relative climatic conditions.

Taken together, the session reflected what Mindscapes is intended to become: a recurring space where technical knowledge, regional intelligence, and collective dialogue meet, circulate, and become spatial practice.
