Reinventing Cities Competition · Student Housing & Mixed-Use Community

A compact urban habitat structured around terraced gardens and shared courtyards. The project integrates student living with everyday urban life—ground floors host communal programs, workspaces, and local amenities, while upper levels provide flexible, light-filled dwellings.

Timber-clad volumes and planted decks create a warm, walkable environment that encourages interaction, movement, and informal exchange. Circulation is externalized through bridges, stairs, and open galleries, turning movement into a social experience.

The scheme prioritizes proximity, living, learning, working, and leisure are layered within one cohesive fabric—supporting a resilient, community-driven model of student life embedded in the city.
