Highland Monolith

Aseer Highlands · Saudi Arabia · Hospitality Retreat

Highland Monolith is a compact hospitality retreat composed as a series of exposed concrete volumes embedded within the highland terrain. The architecture is unapologetically brutalist precise, grounded, and enduring using concrete as both structure and finish. Deep-set openings, recessed thresholds, and shaded edges modulate light and temperature, allowing the building to respond quietly to the changing mountain climate while maintaining a strong sense of enclosure and calm.
